SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Lea Reutlinger, born in Trier in 2003, received her first cello lessons at the age of 5. At the age of 9, she won the special prize of Sparkasse Trier at the competition Jugend Musiziert and since then has been successful in numerous competitions. In 2022, she received a 1st prize at the national Jugend Musiziert competition, at the 2018 Concours Jeunes Solistes in Luxembourg, she was awarded the Medaille d'Or. In 2019, she won the 1. Prize at the Concours Edmond Baert. At the European Competition for Young Soloists 2021, she was awarded a Gold Medal and a Prix Sacem.
Lea is currently studying at the Musikhochschule Köln with Prof. Johannes Moser. She received further artistic impulses in masterclasses with Maria Kliegel, Natalia Gutman, Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt, Wen Sinn Yang, Daniel Geiss, Boris Andrianov, Jens Peter Maintz and Ludwig Quandt.
The young cellist can already look back on numerous activities as a soloist and chambermusician, including concerts at the Mosel Musikfestival, the Musikmesse Festival Frankfurt and as a soloist with the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philharmonic Orchestra of the City of Trier and the Homburger Sinfonieorchester
